Gateway Ministries International (GMI) is a Non-Denominational Christian ministry in the Seattle, Washington area. We are dedicated to reaching cities and nations for Christ. Our focus includes bringing transformation to people groups and sustainable changes in all spheres of society through the power and love of Jesus Christ.
To facilitate this vision, our goals include:
International Ministry:
Our efforts include preaching the Gospel to the unreached and resourcing third-world leaders with the training and equipping. We seek to provide the necessary materials and resources to help empower leaders in their ministry areas and to help the poor become self sufficient.
We are currently working on a project called ACTS Teams (Apostolic City Transformation Strategies) to reach into cities for sustainable changes. This includes reproducing and undergirding ministries and church plants in cities and regions, both locally and internationally.
We strategically intercede and establish outreach for certain people groups/nations around the globe as the Lord directs. Past and present focus areas have included Kenya, Russia, North and South Korea, China, India, Israel, USA, and First Nation People of North America (please select our International Ministry or Local Ministry section for more details).
Training/Equipping Pastors and Ministry Leaders:
We believe the Lord has called us to motivate and inspire leaders with fresh vision and strategy for evangelism, discipleship, and prayer.
Through our partnership with the International Graduate School of Ministry we are able to train, educate and equip pastors and ministry leaders to significantly impact their ministry areas for Jesus Christ.
![]() 9-Day Prayer Vigil with 3-Day Esther Fast for America & Native Americans Passover Season March 28-April 5, 2010 This is an ESTHER CALL to intercession for influential national/state leaders to bring forth reconciliation and restitution that will usher in transformation efforts for America and the Native Americans. Our intercession is focused on the Native Americans and is a challenge to the followers of Christ to bring true biblical wholeness and salvation to America and her beloved First People. …Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this? (Esther 4:14) The ESTHER CALL is to enlist you to stand together before the Lord with a divine assignment from the Father's heart. You will find detailed information regarding the Esther Vigil and Fast with specific prayer needs featured here on our web site. |
Since 1980 our founder, Bev Klopp, has called for and led many intercessory events, both locally and internationally. This includes regional prayer training, spiritual mapping research, prayer-walks, prophetic intercession, and targeted prayer vigils with fasting that follows with intentional outreach and equipping of city leaders and churches. (Detailed information about these events, and others, can be found in the International or Local Ministry sections of our web site.)
In addition, since 1989 Bev has also called for an annual Esther Prayer Vigil and Fast which is a 9-Day focused vigil. The purpose is to bring deliverance to entire people groups from ethnic persecution and destruction and to address past generational abuses and injustice. The Esther CALL is to prepare hearts to receive the good news of God’s love and salvation purchased for all mankind through receiving Jesus Christ. This effort focuses on bringing healing, reconciliation and restitution efforts which often requires national intervention and writing of new laws.
While each Esther Vigil includes a call to prayer with outreach to Israel, the Jewish People and the Middle East, the Lord has directed Bev to also target several specific nations/cities/people groups. This includes Germany (1984), Kenya and Tribes (1988), Israel and Jerusalem (1988-2010), Jordon, Russia- St Petersburg (1992), Siberia and Vladivostok (1994), North and South Korea (1993-94), China, Beijing (1982/1994), USA & Canada (1995), India (1996) Native Americans and America (2007-2010) (Please see our Esther Fast section for complete details.)
